Can I wear a wet suit?
Yes! You can wear a wet suit, a crazy costume or a good old fashined swim suit. Just be sure you come prepared with a way to stay warm following your plunge!

Does the swim really start at 1:00 PM?
Event day registration will begin at 12:00 noon. The swim will start at 1:00 PM.

How cold will the water be?
Around 40 degrees.

How do I get involved?
You can become a team captain and form a team with your friends and family, join a team, or join as an individual. Everyone is welcome!

Your business or organization can get involved by forming a corporate team and/or becoming a sponsor.

How long does the event last?
The swim and awards ceremony should be complete by 2:00 PM.

I want to participate, but I don't want to swim. Do I really have to swim?
Getting your toes wet will count!

I'm a business owner and would like to become a sponsor. What are the sponsor levels?
There are four levels of corporate sponsorship:

Iceberg Sponsor: $1000 Igloo Sponsor: $500 Icicle Sponsor: $250 Snowflake Sponsor: $100

What incentives can I earn?
$25 - Penguin Hat, Coozie, or Penguin Stuffed Animal $75 - Long Sleeve Silk Screened Tee Shirt or Boxer Shorts $150 - Silk Screened Sweat Shirt or Pajama Pants $250 - Beach Towel or Beach Lounger $500 - One prize from each level

What is the minimum amount for a donation?
There is no minimum amount, but we suggest a minimum donation of at least $25.

What kind of awards can I win?
1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place trophies are awarded to highest fundraising teams and individuals. Go for it!

Trophies are also given to the youngest and oldest swimmers.

Where does the swim actually occur?
The swim occurs on the beach in Front of the Princess Royale hotel on 91st street. Event day registration is in the Princess Royale atrium and begins at noon.
